How to setup Tumblr Savior for Greasemonkey
Tumblr Savior is available on these browsers: - Tumblr Savior for Chrome - Tumblr Savior for Safari - Tumblr Savior for Opera - Tumblr Savior for Firefox - Tumblr Savior for Greasemonkey
If you don’t have Greasemonkey installed, you can get it here. You’ll need to restart your browser after it installs.
Go to http://tumblr-savior.greasemonkey.bjornstar.com/ and click on the Install This Script button in the top right corner of the page. You’ll get a notice in the bottom right corner of your browser saying it was successfully installed.
Right click on the Greasemonkey icon in the bottom right corner or your browser. Then click on Manage User Scripts…
A box will pop up, select Tumblr Savior in the left hand column then at the bottom click the Edit button.
If this is your first time doing this it will ask you for a text editor. Try using notepad which is usually located here: ‘c:\windows\system32\notepad.exe’ If you want to get fancy try using Notepad2.
At this point the script will open up in your text editor and you’re ready to add words to the filter. I hope you still remember which words you were going to add.
Tumblr Savior defaults to the words that I don’t want to see, you’ll probably want to change all of those. They need to be in single quotes, comma separated, and lowercase.
Once you are done editing them just save the file and refresh your dashboard. For best results you should be on a page in your dashboard that has something on your filtered word list.
